    Kingston SSDNOW V200 Is Having Serious Performance Problems

    Can you please tell me which part is affected by this performance issue ? I have this model KINGSTON SVP200S37A60G revision 502ABBF0 they were advertising for 500+ MB write/read speeds i barely reach 160/180 on a z68 intel sata3 controller and i7.

    Installed a SV300S3/256G in my backup ThinkPad T61p in August 2012. As it's mostly used by the kids I never noticed it had a write problem until a few weeks ago when I had to use it for a few days. Write speeds were horrendous, disk mark varied between 15mb and at best 37mb/sec.

    Found this thread, rang Kingston UK, answered a short questionnaire of the symptoms attached screenshot of the SSD and the crystal disk mark results, and a day later they offered me a new SV300S37A/240G in exchange. Total cost about £6 to ship to Kingston and should have the new SSD within a week. Didn't even ask for a copy of the invoice, as hassle free an RMA I've ever had.

    Thanks to everyone on this thread who had problems in the past, I look forward to having a drive that writes at proper speeds soon!
