My hunt to get myself updated on the (turbulent) SSD market since my last experience with it over a year ago has had a lot of fingers pointed at Crucial M4s. However, NCIX (oh by the way, I'm Canadian so if you know of any great deals, they may not be within my reach) has a Kingston SATA 3 128 up for $143 CAD.
Kingston SSDNow V200 128GB 2.5IN SATA3 Solid State Disk Flash Drive - Kingston - SV200S37A/128G
So, bunch of connectors glued to a brick of flash nodes, or is Kingston a name to put my money on? I've never gone with them before myself, or really ever payed much attention to their business until now.
Also, it's going into the primary drive bay of a Sager NP8130 that I don't have yet to check the space clearance of. A review notes that this 7mm model has a pad to space it to 9.5mm, but I'm hoping that the Sager doesn't need an exact form fit to hold the drive firm.

Did you not see the thread on the v200 in the forum?

Yeah I did. Sorry, somehow glancing over the forum a few times made me miss one of the biggest topics active...
Kingston a name to trust?
