    Hi,

Have Acer laptop with 1280x800 native resolution (ATI 200M). Recently bought BENQ 22" monitor with 1680x1080 max resolution. But in max resolution, pictures and fonts flicker vertically. I updated all drivers, couldn't find a solution. Any ideas?

    cheers,

    N.-

Hmm, the GPU shouldn't have any problems driving a WSXGA+ panel, at least for 2D work.

Have you tried the monitor on a different computer? Have you tried using a different cable? The bundled cable with some monitors leave a lot to be desired...

So the problem is the monitor ... Return it, especially if it is <30 days recent. Do tell them it has a problem tho so they do not just restock it.

LOL, that was my first thought as well :) .... little skinny things that barely support 1280X1024
