Hey guys,
I posted a similar topic before, and thought it went away. So basically, D901C, 17"Wuxga.... got it in sept. Since nov., lines of random colored pixes go across the screen, sometimes its just the top and bottom (horizontal lines) other times it encompasses the whole screen. WHen i go to an LCD test website and do the tests to tell you whether its RGB Dot/line pixel type screen, it goes f'kin insane. I already reseated the LCD and the inverter cables.. no luck. To stop it from happening, i basically HIT my laptop, not too hard, but not too soft either. It'll stop wen i hit it, then come back a second or two later. So guys, new video card? new LCD screen? wat u think? plz help.

Looks like you need someone to dig around and replace the broken parts, hope it's on warranty.

Contact your reseller and request an RMA, because that doesn't sound right in any way shape or fashion. Since the corruption isn't there constantly, it shouldn't be a physically damaged screen, so your warranty should cover the repair.
