I just want to know all the notebooks out there right now with LED backlit displays (or at least all the ones that are a reasonable size for daily use).

I know of the M1330 and the MacBook Pro, but what else is there?

Ah, so the Sony SZ is a (the?) direct competitor to the M1330.

From the little research I just did, the SZ is not on the Santa Rosa platform, and only has a GeForce Go 7400 TurboCache GPU. However, what I can't seem to find is if all SZs have LED backlighting or if only some of them do, and how long LED backlighting has been available on them...Anyone know?

Nope, I believe the Premium SZ has it. There is like 5 different versions of it heh.

The ASUS U3 is also a new competitor in the batch.

Yeah, I've noticed that there are far too many SZs...And if only the Premium one has the LED backlit screen, that's a deal-breaker for me. Anyway, one thing I found out just by looking at the review here on NBR is that the SZ series has always had an LED backlit screen, at least as an option.

Anyway, the ASUS U1F is too small for me, but the U3 is just the right size. The design isn't nearly as good at the M1330 or SZ, though, and it isn't coming out until September, but then again, neither is the M1330.

Supposedly, there's an SZ Santa Rosa refresh coming at the end of July, so I think I may just wait for that before I buy either that or the M1330.

If anything else pops up or you know of any other notebooks with LED backlit screens, please please post them here.

    Thanks!

Also the HP 2510p, and when the 2710p is released.
