    Hey guys and gals

So I bought this LG LW40 express back in 2005 and I was hoping it was possible to give it a bit of a work over. I like it, its solid and reliable. But the video card is waning with relation to video game support.

Does anyone know the upgrade possibilities for this laptop?
If you can give me a list of a website that shows it I would appreciate it.

    Thanks

The LG LW40 is a Pentium M/Celeron M based laptop.
I dont know what processor you have but you can upgrade to a Pentium M 780 2.26Ghz processor if you want.
The memory is upgradeable to 2 Gb (2 x 1GB) Pc4200 sodimm memory

The graphics card is integrated and cannot be upgraded.

This system was offered with both ATA and SATA harddrives.
If you have an ATA harddrive the fastest harddrive you can get is the Samsung HM160HC.
If you have a SATA based harddrive than you can upgrade to a 320gb 7200rpm drive or up to a 500Gb 5400rpm drive.
Their should not be any harddrive capacty limit on your system.

Other than that I think its better off to save up for a new laptop.
The memory upgrade is worthwhile because ddr2 memory is dirt cheap. Its like $20 for 2Gb.
Upgrading the cpu is only worth it if you have a celeron M and you can get a Pentium M 750 or higher chip for cheap.
