I highly doubt that an OS change would cause the laptop to stop charging from the AC cord. I'd call up HP and have them service your laptop (if it's still under warranty) as that sounds like a hardware failure.

As stated above, changing the OS has nothing to do with your AC adapter not functioning, it probably just died. HP use the eeprom chip just like Dell/Lenovo, so if that chip dies it won't charge the laptop anymore and you'll need to buy a new AC adapter. Also fan activity is not relegated by the OS, it is your BIOS that does it. You may want to check HP's support site to see if it has any BIOS updates, but careful with them.

I purchased a new AC adapter of HP 90 watt HP 90W Smart AC Adapter ED495AA - Chargers & AC adapters - HP: ED495AA#ABA i.e same as my original AC adapter. But still its not supplying power. Still the same issue.

as i stated above power is supplying if i am using 65 or 95 WATT HP ac adapter .
But my question is why not with 90 Watt AC adapter.

This problem just started when i changed the OS , before then it in XP OS , same charger was working fine.
    how to solve this problem?
    ,
I think its a driver issue or BIOS version issue.

If buying a new power adapter didn't solve the issue, perhaps the power port on your laptop is broken.

You could update your driver and BIOS if you like (though usually you'd only do that when plugged in, as a failed BIOS update could brick your computer).

Is it not charging or not powering your laptop? HP only makes 65W, 90W, 120W, 150W, 180W adapters (maybe higher wattages on top end Elitebook models), there is no 95W adapter. It is possible certain AC adapters the eeeprom chip is bad. You stated in your original post that certain AC adapters work, so why not use those? And what wattage adapter was originally shipped with your laptop? Almost all laptops with discreet graphics require a 90W or higher, and alot of BIOS from the big 3 of business (Dell, HP, Lenovo) will prevent the AC adapter from charging if your rated AC adapter is too low (you might blow it out).

There are no drivers involved in charging. I highly doubt it is a BIOS issue, and there are inherent risks as stated above, a bad BIOS flash can result in a bricked motherboard.
