    Laptop Freezes at Startup - Help

    I have an Asus A8JM and it doesn't work anymore unless its plugged in. I unplugged it without turning it off manually. When I turned it back on, the screen where it says that turned off the computer wrong shows up and asks if I want to start it in Safe Mode, Last Known Configuration, etc. comes up. When I click "Last Known Configuration" or any of the options, it freezes up. I've waited and nothing happens. Please help. I don't want to reformat it.

    do u still have warranty on this thing most likely no but u should send it in anyways.........
