I'm getting the HP dv6700t laptop. It has both a VGA port and an HDMI port. If I connect a monitor into each one, can I create a triple monitor setup (counting the laptop screen obviously) or can I only use one at a time?

Looks like 8400 has NVIDIA nView® multi-display technology capability. From some reading this can support up to 9 displays. So unless hardware limited. It could work. Sorry I can't answer more definitively.

Edit: I was reading while you posted.
