Recently the screen on my Sager NP8690 busted down on me. I have been doing some research online and it seems like the screen is pretty outdated.
    B156HW01 V.0
I've been looking around at some of the other screens and it is pretty tough to tell which would be compatible.
The AUO B156HW01 V.7 seems like a decent choice since the price isn't much higher however i have no idea whether or not it will be compatible(intuition tells me it will be but i have been wrong before).
Does this seem like a good choice to go with? I was considering going with a more toned down resolution but finding a solid 1600x900 screen is becoming a pain in my behind. Are there any other good options that i have missed?

The V.0 is actually nice. The v.5 is a 95% gamut screen that everyone seems to rave about too except for some issues with maroon-ish blacks and ghosting while scrolling. It requires a calibration.

I was really hoping to go with something other than the V.0, i a bit of an issue with uneven lighting.
Really got to me haha. So as far as compatibility i should be fine with the V.5 or the V.7?
Also how difficult is the V.5 to calibrate? Can you use software or do you do it by hand?
