    hi, i was told that my laptop is in need for a upgrade to play high end games and such however i do not know what exactly to upgrade... here are my specs:

    Me being the novice i am i could not find out what my laptop is.. all i know that it is a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC and i found all this on the internet long back and decided to save it...

    Operating system installed - Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium with Service Pack 1 (32-bit)
    Processor type - AMD Turion™ X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor RM-72
    Processor speed - 2.10 GHz
    Cache - Level 2 cache 1 MB
    Standard memory - 4096 MB
    Memory layout - (2 x 2048 MB)
    Internal drives - 250 GB
    Optical drive type - Lightscribe Super Multi DVD Writer (+/-R +/-RW) with Double Layer support
    Display size - 15.4” WXGA High Definition BrightView Widescreen
    Video RAM - Up to 1533 MB Total Available Graphics Memory with 256 MB dedicated
    Graphic subsystem name - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450 Graphics

    I was told something about the "CPU" and "GPU"??

    to play the newest graphic intensive games, you'd need a better video card (GPU) but that's something you can't upgrade...... you'd need a new laptop if you wanted a better GPU

    If you decide to get a new laptop, go with intel, much better than AMD. To play the newest graphic intensive games you would need a nVidia 9800 series or higher, or ATI 4600 series or higher..

    i dont think ill be getting a new laptop for a while, this one is only 5 months ish old.... oh well :/

    88m SLI will also work. Cheap and powerful as always.
