I have an Inspiron 15 SE 7520, it is continually dropping off my wireless network. It has the intel centrino wireless n-2230. I am at my wits end and really do not know what to do. Can someone please give me some suggestions or if someone had the same issue and fixed it, please let me know. Because if I have to contact tech support at Dell and have them go thru the routine of changing my settings again I will scream!

    Thanks

Could you give the Service tag to be able to see for sure what all the hardware configuration is?

Also information about your Router hardware and what sort of walls/obstacles are between you and the router when the drops are happening would be helpful

I'm guessing that you didn't/don't have this problem with any other device?

Hi folks. Please do not request (or provide) Service Tag or other personally identifying information. While I trust the idea is harmless, with the intent of helping, the consequences can be tragic if it is read and misused by the wrong person.

Thanks to the person that alerted me.

What?!? Did we forget to take the meds this morning?

If they can't give it out then at least copy and paste what specs listed from the Dell site and what hardware WiFi it comes with and the optional WiFi it can be upgraded to with then? What is in another hardware doesn't mean the similar hardware has that internal working as well. And what exactly did that person tell you and how did the Service tag give out personal information? That tag doesn't give out name or address but the hardware itself. I should know I have a few dell laptops that I used and have on my Dell account so I can quickly look up the specs and drivers and upgrade components should I upgrade in the future.
