My pc is a HP Pavilion dv9232eu (dv9000 series)

Okay heres the thing, i just got my new laptop harddisk (7200RPM and 160GB) and my laptop got 2 harddisk holes (yay). BUT... i need a special converter thing (see the last pics).. (not sure if its a HP thing or a general thing)

Okay heres some pics ive taken,

    My newbought harddisks SATA outthingys:

    And a shaper pic:

    And straight view:

The hole the harddisk must sit in in the computer:

Another pic of the thing the harddisk must plug into in the computer (as i prev pic)

The default harddisk with its converter and its "hard drive bay" which i am not SURE (please tell if it is) needed for a new harddisk.

The default harddisk without its converter but still with the drive bay on:

    One side of the converter:

    And the other side:

    Now, my questions are following:

    * Do i need the harddrive bay when i insert another harddisk? If yes, then where to buy it?
    * Where can i get such converter and what is the name for it?

Thanks in advance for answering these questions. I appreciate that.

You need a hard drive caddy. HP used to sell a kit with a caddy. There are a few threads disccusing this issue. Search for them.
