    Hello,

First post here, so pardon me if it's in the wrong forum.

Recently, I've been looking at some TV-in / TV-Tuner boxes, which would have support for Analog (And S-Video), and (not necessarily) Composite Video cables, as well as, audio-in.
My main goal, is to turn my laptop into something that can view live streaming TV-Signal, as well as, be able to run consoles on it, as in, display the picture on my Linux Laptop's screen.

So far, I've come across the ATI TV Wonder HD650 and the AverMedia Hybrid Ultra USB AP6R ( http://www.aver.com/mpd/hybrid_ultra_usb_ap6r_spec.html ), but, I have not been able to verify if those work in linux or not, as there is very little information on them.

I am open to suggestions on what I should look at, though, and any opinions and comments are welcome.
