    Laptop suddnely stoped working

    this morning when i turned on my acer aspire 5920 the screen didnt turn on,.
    the laptopturns on but nothing on the screen,..and when i press the power button once again it just turns off..
    two years it ran with no problem at all..

    has my motherbored gone dead??..
    any help woulod be appriciated

    Look real close at the screen, perhaps even use a flashlight and look for the sceen being real faint. If so, the invertor probably needs replacement. Search the forum, this has been covered here and many other places.

    If not, its a more serious issue.

    You can also try an external monitor.

    tried that to m8 cant see anything but a blank screen,..
    i just hope i dont have to replace a motherbored or something.
