    Lcd Screen Cracked!!

    hey guys, i got an toshiba a105, and acidentally threw something and cracked the LCD screen.. you think its repairable by swapping the screen alone?? if so how much would the LCD screen cost? would it be difficult? thanks.

    The LCD is usually the most expensive part of the laptop, $400+ depending on who manufacturered it.

    You can switch screens, but you'll need to find the serial #, as just any LCD can't fit in.

    check your warranty and see if you have accidental coverage.

    there is a company that sells replacement screens for almost all makes and models I read a interview with the company head, they give you a discount if you send them your damaged screen I think,i cant remember the name though I originally saw it on www.notebookforums.com if you want to have a look for it.
