I've read that Lenovo has kept their keyboard configuration for over 10 years now.. which is why I never bought Lenovo - nor recommended it for that reason - until now. I recently purchased the T400S and I enjoy the notebook - just wish there were more battery options. I'm also still getting used to using the new cntl button location (new for me). Hard to say how long this will take especially since I use the lenovo in the docking stating at work but with a conventional keyboard for most of the day. Outside of the docking station, I feel like I'm writing with my left hand.

I've read that Lenovo is considering a BIOS update to allow swapping these keys (HP has this feature in their BIOS). What are the chances of this actually happening? Strategically, it sounds like a simple fix. Now it makes me wonder if those who have been using this keyboard configuration have any trouble adapting to the more conventional layout? Any HP converts actually use the BIOS to swap these keys? your thoughts?

Maybe I'll fully adapt within a week or 2 and this whole issue becomes a moot point. That'll be a win for me!
