    Does anyone know what is the best CPU that is possible for my notebook? I'd like to upgrade the CPU to the fastest model available...

    The thing with GL40 chipset is..
    the compatibility with 1066 fsb processor is still not confirmed.
    Although some had confirmed that they can't use 1066 fsb processor.. and some said they can..without evidence
    So your best bet is socket P 800MHz fsb processors

    T9300 is good, T9500 is better but not on price.
    And if you wanna gamble a bit , try X9000.

    Another alternative is to try to overclock your cpu.
