    Hello

CPUZ says my CPU is running at 1500 MHz, while Rivatuner says its running at 2100 MHz. Who should I trust?

I've got speedstep enabled in BIOS.

    Thanks for your help!

    what cpu?

if speedstep is on then your clockspeed will vary every few seconds

I disabled speedstep now and CPUZ shows now 1100 MHz...
I'm confused. Is the current CPUZ version buggy?

    How did you disable speedstep?
You will have to physically remove the driver from the registry in order to disable speedstep.
Is there a reason you want to do this. Forcing the cpu to run at full speed will not increase anything other than heat generated. Performance will be the same regardless of unning at say 1500mhz or 2100Mhz. The cpu will dynamically switch between speeds when the processing power is needed.

CPU-Z is usually always right. In the first tab, you will see the name and clock speed of your processor, and you will see the current clock and FSB of the processor in the lower left corner of the window.
