Hey guys! and thanks for your help in advance

I bought a Lenovo SL500 3 days ago with a 6 cell battery ( manufactured by sanyo) and yesterday just checked extra details about my battery

Its full charge capacity is: 47.73 wh

but its design capacity is: 51.84 wh

and today its even gone down to: 47.16 wh

Just wondering whats the deal with that? Also i've found out that a normal battery has a full charge and design capacity of around 56 wh. Is my battery faulty and if so what should i do?

    Thanks

Brand new or refurb? If refurb, that would explain it. If it is new, give Lenovo a call. It should not be deteriorating that fast. My 6 cell battery had 56 design and has 52 total now, keep in mind it is seven months old. So I think I'm doing just fine (batteries do lose capacity over time).
