    Hi there

Can I change my graphic card in my lenovo W500 from Quadro FX 2700M to Quadro FX 3700M?

Lenovo offers both in their setup, but will I be able to change them my self?

    Thanks alot

According to Lenovo's W700 service manual it looks like the GPU is not soldered to the motherboard and subsequently replaceable/removable. The manual doesn't say whether the GPU uses a proprietary connector or something standardized like MXM.

Regardless, you should be able to upgrade from the FX 2700M to the FX 3700M, you'll just need to make sure that your 3700M fits.
