Hey guys,
I'm thinking about adding an SSD to the y410p I recently ordered and I have some questions.
1. Just to confirm, a 2.5inch SATAIII SSD can be installed in the ultrabay or be swapped with the 1TB HDD, right?
2. The y410p has a slot to fit the 24GB SSD in one of the y410p models- what type of SSD is this exactly? I've heard that next gen SSD's will come with this interface, so would it be worthwhile to wait for them to be released instead of getting one now?

I know in the y510p the msata slot is actually NGFF (42mm I believe..) and isn't widely available. No bueno.
For the first question.. Swap a Samsung 840 pro where the 1 TB 5400 RPM HDD. The Ultrabay should house the 1TB HDD. I don't know if the HDD caddy is for sale yet.. -
Forgive my ignorance but... what exactly is an HDD caddy supposed to do? Is it just the outer casing that makes it fit into the laptop's ultrabay slot?

When installing it, be sure to remove the optical bay cap and place it on the caddy otherwise the side of the laptop will look ugly
Lenovo y410p + an SSD- can someone fill me in?
