Hey, was just looking at cheap priced printers, and the X1290 is cheaply priced... but is it any good? If anyone has experiance with one, I WANT to hear about it! Also I hear that they dont come with a USB cable?
If anyone wants to recomend a scanner/printer under 75 bucks feel free, I want to know!

You might want to look at the Canon MP160. Canon makes nice printers, and the replacement ink is usually less than the other manufacturers.
I think Newegg has them for abbout $75. Fry's was running around $50 after a rebate. -
Hey thanks, Ill make sure to check it out!

Most of the Lexmark printers are junk. The only ones that got good reviews were the little portable photo printers of which I have one. But the all-in-ones never were much good.

Lexmark is a terrible brand. I have never had a good experience with a Lexmark printer.
Frankly, the printer you buy barely matters at all. It's the ink that matters. That goes for print quality AND overall cost. Make sure you know if you're getting a printer that needs 5 ink carts costing $20 each as opposed to a printer that takes the regular two cards that cost $26 each.
Printers are practically disposable these days.
Lexmark X1290? GOOD or BAD? (or make a suggestion on a good printer)
