    Hello, before I have reinstalled windows 7, my laptops fully charged batterys up time was +- 3hours 10minutes and after restarting it got to 2hours 30minutes. Week after Reinstalling windows it got to 2hours. I am using 33% brightness and most optimal options. When I tried to calibrate my laptops battery when it reached 0% laptop was online for about 30minutes. Laptops discharge rate is 17-21 watts. maybe you can help me.

    My laptops info:
    Intel Core i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40Ghz
    8.0GB RAM
    Intel HD graphics 3000

    Seems you have not installed all the drivers for your notebook (which one is it!!!):

    Chipset drivers,
    Power Management driver,
    Manufacturer's power saving 'tweaks' for their system,
    Sound, video and mouse drivers, etc.


    Need more info...
