I have HP dv6560 (core 2 duo. T7300) and i am using it for two years now. Although the laptop is working well but there is some problem with its Lightscribe DVD burner. Its DVD burner is not reading/burning any DVD. I have tried to clean the lens by myself but all in vain.

Can i replace the lighscribe DVD burner with a new one?????

Yes, you can easily remove the LightScribe DVD burner and replace it with a new one if you want. There are plenty of drives out there that will fit in the same slot. However, the bezel that will come with the new drive may not fit in as perfectly as it should.

I have searched the internet but still i am unable to find a Lightscribe DVD burner that fits into my "HP DV6560" laptop.

Can you please tell me names of some brands that can fit snugly in my laptop??

Here is a refurbished LightScribe DVD burner that usually comes with these HP notebooks. There are also plenty of other places online that you can find LightScribe DVD burners for your notebook.

Its really easy theres a small screw on the bottom labled by a tiny circle ( attempt to look like a dvd ) take out that screw and the dvd drive pops right out.
