    LightScribe external CD/DVD writer?

    Hi,

    Linked to my X31 replacement I need some kind of CD/DVD drive.

    And I consider that it would contain the LightScripe function

    LightScribe

    - Any suggestions or is the LightScripe worth anything in the first place?
    - Seems logically that it can only burn black?

    i made my own external lightscribe drive with a caddy off ebay and a drive i already had
    so you could build your own if you cant find one
    yes it doesnt burn in color but you can get different colored disk now

    Samsung SE-T084P for about 60€ has Lightscribe.

    I will check the Samsung to start with, for 60 €

    It might be stupid (with my fingers) to start to build my self :p
