    Hello,
    I am going to get a Clevo M570A barebones and buy my own processor
    this are my choices:
    Celeron M 350-370 (1.3 - 1.5 Ghz)
    Pentium M 730-780 (1.6 - 2.26Ghz)-->all 533Mhz FSB
    Are any of these OC-able?
    Which one of these should I get for good gaming performance?
    Thatnks In Advance,
    -TBird

    I would suggest a Pentium M 750. It should give the bets performance for the buck. If you are into modding the cpu then get a 400MHz Pentium M and pin mod it to get 533MHz and somewhere around 2GHz. There are instructions on how to do this. If you dont want to do all of that then the P-M 740- 750 should be good.

    When gaming, it is all about the card. The CPU is down the list for gaming performance after memory and hard drive. The reason to stay away form the Celeron is it can't slow the CPU to save on battery life. If you are plugged in all the time it won't matter, but it does create heat and noise issues. I don't think you'll save much by pin-modding a Dothan Pentium M. There is a chance things could go wrong and you'll be out your money for the CPU.
