I have placed an order on a G703 with the 8950hk processor and the gtx 1080 gpu and would like to know how much conductonaut I will need (1 or 5 grams) and what size and quantity of fujipoly thermal pads will I need as they come in different thicknesses and I have no idea what is required.

I could have opted for HID evolution to do the job instead but as I am a DIY kind of person and enjoy it quite a lot I thought I'd ask you guys.

Best place to get them from would be also great thanks!

If you have the ability to buy this, Don't waste your money on overpriced conductonaut or Liquid Pro/Ultra.
    Better to just buy this:

Then get a syringe with a plunger (and a cap to cover the nozzle) to pour it in. Care must be taken after pouring it in and compressing the syringe though (you need to remove the bottom cap and invert the syringe so air can move out freely, VERY important).

If you MUST buy expensive conductonaut, 5 grams is more cost effective than 1. But 30 grams of Galinstan alloy costs less than 5 grams of coconut.
