Nice find! I hope your hard drive is in good shape. I am just getting ready to send mine off for a replacement, hopefully you aren't doomed as well.

Well, noise alone isn't always a good indicator. The actual drive, the computer, and usage can all affect noise. For instance, my 7200 RPM wasn't audible in my old laptop, but it is in my new laptop, even though it is run less in my new one. Its just because the casing's are build differently and with different materials. Also, different brands and different series have different nose levels. If this is a new drive, I would be hesitant to say its faulty because it makes noise (depending on the noise). See how the two weeks treat you, hopefully well.
Mine whirs really really loudly if I move the computer with it on at all. I know you shouldn't move the computer much with the disks spun up, but it is almost unavoidable for a laptop, and this whirring in a disk usually indicates it is going to stop turning on one day. So, I will get mine replaced soon. -
LOL HDA2 for classic for DOS looks like a classic DOS program. Editing 20 things to get it to monitor
I dont particularly monitoring programs running all the time. They use up too much System resources running in the background. I only switch them on occasionaly to see if my PC is in good shape. -
Awesome find! Thanks for sharing.
