This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The ASUS N56DP-DH11 has a 15.6" Full HD 1920x1080 Matte IPS LCD, it's one of the notebooks featured in the Ultimate AMD Trinity Thread. I have one and it's got a beautiful display.

    Note that there's also a cheaper N56DP-BH11 variant that has comes with a 1366x768 display instead, I have no idea if that one is IPS or not.

    M4700 didn't have an IPS display since Dell has been having problems with them recently (lots of problems with the M4600's IPS display option).

    M6700 has the option, iirc.
