I cannot find much information about the two drives. The first one may be a superceded model, so for an extra $10AU I am considering the second one.

My laptop is a Dell XPS M1730 (sata 2) and takes two drives. For the second drive I am considering a Seagate hybrid 750G.

    SEAGATE 750gig ST750LX003 7200rpm 32MB CACHE SATA3 MOMENTUS XT Solid State Hybrid
    Item Code hddSE750nb_xt_sata3

    Any comments would be welcome.

I purchased a Liteon 256GB SSD model S100 256 hard drive yesterday and did a fresh install of Windows 7 64 Bit Ultimate. Everything is working as is should. The initial start-up for Windows 7 is certainally much faster.
