woodzstack Alezka Computers , Official Clevo reseller.
I have not stocked these, there was not enough demand for the half height cards. As of still we had some for 900M series and still got those, and never needed a resupply either.

scam, are you sure, it has a review by noterbookreview and TechInferno, and others LAWL.
Yeah not only is the writing very sketchy but grammatically wrong and mispelled all over the place. Its just some reseller probably trying to make a quick buck, though some if not everything in there is misleading. -

No reviews I could find. In their inital phase, they promised backwards compatiblity with USB of all things, and their current sales pitch states compatibility with Mac, lol -
Even if it is a scam, some 1050 units would of have to have been ordered/made so they will probably turn up on ebay at some point for cheap.
-
what about p2000 cards?
-
I would love to fit one of these on my Zbook 15 G1, the 1050Ti specifically.
I can only wonder how involved that process would be haha.
EDIT: Well I guess I can only keep on dreaming, because my Zbook isn't a dreamcolor model (as in non-eDP) which (according to what I've read) means 10-series GPUs are a no-go. Would the Quadro P-series be any different?Last edited: Oct 27, 2018 -
You should still have optimus, which means you would be able to run most of them just not in dedicated mode
-
That wouldnt be a problem for home use since I'm planning to buy a docking station/port replicator and running a dual-monitor setup (not counting the integrated display), but I would like to play games without having to hook up an external display hehe. Thanks for bringing optimus up, I forgot about it.
offtopic: would an M2200 do the trick then? It's a maxwell card so it shouldn't have any problem with an LVDS display, right?
It benches higher than both the GTX965m and M2000M at Passmark.Last edited: Oct 27, 2018 -

M2200 should be a go
Also, to others interested, you can buy these MXM A cards of TaoBao, the 1050 TI is around $350 -
Great! Thanks.
-
@Grant B Gibson Can you give a link to such a card on taobao or (even better) share the search phrase, which you use to find the 1050Ti MXM cards. For the life of me, I can't get their search to show me mxm cards, it only list desktop ones.

Okay, I took a look at what HP PartSurfer had on my specific laptop and it seems like it left the factory with an eDP display (attached screenshot from partsurfer). I guess It's only logical to assume my zbook's motherboard has an eDP connector, right? That should make me eligible to use a Pascal card
I'm pretty sure the person who sold me this machine (a refurbisher) had the display replaced (there's evidence of that on the edges of the lid, some cracking, also it's missing a screw). As far as I know, an eDP connector should have more pins and be electrically incompatible with LVDS displays, so even if the display was replaced, they must have used an eDP panel as a replacement.
Is there any way to be sure about this that doesn't involve tearing the machine down?Attached Files:

Run hwinfo, copy and paste the monitor info(model/partnumber) here.

you mean this?
- Chi Mei, Unknown Model, CMN15C2
attached is a screenshot of the relevant HWiNFO view.
It's funny, it reports a grayscale display.
Thanks.Attached Files:
