I'm looking for a new mouse; I mainly will use it for FPS, internet surfing and photoshop, I've read a few positive reviews of this mice, do you think its worth the investment if I sped alot time using a PC?

Its not that expensive as when launched, but still not cheap for a mouse; so the question is: does the quality worth it?

never tried it myself, but i never was a big fan of the overall design. IMO you can get better palm- and claw-grippers for the price of the G9. Cyber Snipa Stinger if you're a palm-gripper, or Razer Deathadder/Diamondback if you're a claw-gripper.

Tried my friend's Logitech G9. Still prefer the feel of my Cyber Snipa Stinger over it. Best if you try out a few mice first before deciding to buy one really.

My hands and fingers are both quite long, and pretty much cover the whole mouse evenly, I'm not quite sure how to describe that.

    Claw Grip vs Palm Grip

Still, it's best to actually try out a mouse before buying it. I was lucky that my Stinger was just the way I preferred to hold my mouse. Also there were a few reviews actually praising the ergonomics of it compared to the G9.

I love my G9, but I play MMO's and i use it's many programable buttons for easy access to abilities without having to move my hands from "home base"

I think the weight systems of mice are kind of a gimmic. I don't know who would want a heavier mouse. I makes it more anoying to lift up and slide...

It's all about feeeling and control, it's like having a light or hard-pushed gas-pedal in a car, one preffers one or another.

Some people doesn't have that little extra feeling when it comes to sensitivity.

I preffer heavier mice's as you can easier feel when you move the mice just a tiny bit and get that extra stability or accuracy.

Hirohata, thanks so much for clearing that up (rep+); I guess I'd be the latter then. I guess I'll try G9 first, as its scroll wheel is apparently superior.

I have the Logitech G5 would of gone with the G9 but money was an issue. Kinda the same as the G9 but G9 looks better and more features . Depending what mouse ur coming from u will see a big transition if u have an old one like i did mine had 500 dpi. This new one I have has 2,000 dpi big diff.
