I've been using VX revolution mouse for a year and love this mouse. the only thing that I don't like is its big receiver. I'm worried that I might break that receiver dongle one day. I then bought MS bluetooth mouse and eliminated the receiver issue but it lacks in features/buttons.

long story short, I just found out today that I can reconfigure my VX revolution to use the Nano tiny receiver by using Logitech Connectivity Ultility software. it worked perfectly, and I can just leave the nano receiver plugged in all the time. I wish I should have known this long ago.

anyone done this? if not, you should.

I actually wish I knew about this, the only reason I wanted a nano was the small receiver but the revolution to me is a better mouse with more friendly place buttons. Ill have to remind myself to buy one of those receivers =)

How much was the nano receiver, and where did you buy it? I've already broken one of the VX revolution's recievers before...

I got it from my nano mouse. I heard that you can get just the receiver from logitech. or get used nano mouse from ebay?

Got rid of my VX Nano for the MS Bluetooth 5000.

While I miss having forward button, I don't miss the dongle, even the nano dongle. It stuck out just enough that it always managed to get caught on something and I like the slightly larger size of the MS BT 5000, the VX Nano seemed too small sometimes.

Nice! The MS BT 5000 rocks :D

It works great for me, also! ;) I like how it scrolls fast and efficiently!

But, the Nano is also a great mouse. I have a few friends that have it!

    Cin ;) :)
