Hi Guys,
Planning on getting either ones of these monitors. What are your opinions? I've heard IPS isn't as good for gaming as TN however both have the same refresh rate so it shouldn't be an issue right? The cost is not a problem for me only a 5-7 quid difference however, I do plan on watching anime and movies quite a bit also so IPS would be better for that I guess? The real issue for me that puts me off from getting the IPS pannel is the issue of IPS with gaming and also the speakers of it are less powerful. Will i really notice that much of a difference in between them?
Thanks

Where does it say that the second one is IPS? Just the fact that it has the same listed 2ms GTG as the first one is suspicious; I suspect it's also TN. Also refresh rate =/= pixel response time.

Monitors & Projectors - VS239H-P - ASUS (IPS)
Looking at the difference in listed viewing angle and response time, I'm definitely going with TN. -

They're both TN if I haven't been clear enough, likely the exact same panel.

Also there is the Asus VG23AH which is 3D capable and IPS...

Edit: Screw the VS24H-P.. What about these 2? The VG23AH and the VE247H? I'm tending more towards the VG as it has better speakers and is IPS.. -
... anyone has an opinion?

Asus VE247H (TN), Asus VX238H (TN and I really like it tbh), VN247H-P (TN, but it seems to have a wonky stand).
I'm really tempted towards the VX238H and VN247H but really not sure which would be the one..
Thanks
