What interface does your notebook have for ODDs ?? IDE or SATA ?? (probably IDE)

The only two drives I can think of ATM, are the Panasonic UJ-845 Slot Load DVD+/-RW (+R DL), and the LiteOn SLW-831S Slot Load DVD+/-RW (+R DL)

C90S has a standard IDE based optical drive.

I would look at the Pioneer DVR-K06 or the Panasonic UJ845
I have the DVR-K06 and it is a great drive.

Both are excellent slot loading drives. It may be hard to source them though.

I was just gonna ask if http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=666610200&vpn=DVR-K06&manufacture=Pioneer would work, but from what you say it does, so thanks alot.

Wow that is expensive, I picked mine up from Meritline.com a little over a year ago for like $65 USD.

The demand for them must have gone up cause Dell has been using them in their XPS1530's
