    hey guys i have an old desktop which i want the internet on so i am looking for a very cheap network adapter that has wireless support on it.Ill give you mobo info but i think its got the 1x pci express slot for one.

    - i posted this thread here because i couldn't post in the desktop forum.. it said i didn't have privellage to do it.

    I think in theory you're supposed to direct your desktop questions and such to Desktopreview; that's why they don't let you post in the desktop forum anymore.

    Nonetheless, there are plenty of cheap wireless adapters out there for USB/PCI/PCIE... basically anything from here will do: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2052810031&bop=And&Order=PRICE

    I've been using one of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833127080 in my desktop(s) for a few years now and though it isn't really as good as most laptop wireless adapters it does the job pretty reliably.
