Hi, I've been looking around for a SSD to be my boot drive. I really don't need too much more out of it, so I was thinking that ~40 GB would be enough, though a 64 GB drive is not out of the question. The areas where I've had trouble in choosing drives is the reliability department. I've heard stories of SSD'd slowing down substantially over just a few months and I definitely want this to be a long lasting drive. I'll be installing Windows 7 Home Premium on it only, though if you guys do end up recommending a 64 GB drive I may put 2 or 3 games on it.
Thanks in advance guys.

Crucial C300 64GB. It's fast, got great 4K speeds, cheap and comes from a reliable company. What more can you ask for?

Crucial C300 is good, seq. write speeds are fairly low.
Samsung 470 64GB is another good one with better seq. write speeds. -
I second phil suggestion, although the Samsung 470 64gb is still sata II, it has good speeds for a small ssd, Sequential Read Up to 250 MB/sec / Sequential Write Up to 170 MB/sec.
Another option is to wait for Crucial M4 (micron C400), Micron 2.5 inch 64GB RealSSD C400 SATA3 Solid State Drive(MLC) - MTFDDAC064MAM-1J1, Sequential Read Rate: 415 MB/s (max) / Sequential Write Rate: 95 MB/s (max).
Looking for a lower capacity SATA III SSD
