Hey all, my girlfriends laptop which is an inspiron 17rse has an intel centrino 2230 in it and will intermittently drop connection and she's getting frustrated with it so I was looking to upgrade it and looking for some suggestions. I was thinking on going with a dual band one so I could use 5ghz on the router and still had bluetooth and most importantly is stable, decently priced if possible . If anyone could give me some suggestions your help would be appreciated.

i had inspiron 15 with 2230 card and the connection drop was fixed by using a driver which, sadly, i can't remember it's version. hope it helps

I'm after trying a bunch of different drivers and can't seem to find one that's stable also I wanted to change up to 5ghz band on the router anyway.
