I remember seeing a thread showing you how to overclock your mobile Core 2 Duo procesor but for the life of me, I cannot find it at all and I've been looking for the past two days. Could someone post the link for me? Thanks.

I want to try bumping up my performance to 2.2GHz, nothing drastic. But at the same time, I want to undervolt my processor. It's possible to overclock and undervolt your processor, correct?

    Thanks.

you need to know the PLL (clock generator) of your laptop.

There is two ways to find it: 1- open up the laptop and look for it. 2- try different PLLs from the software listed below and see if you find one that works.

    SetFSB
    Clockgen
    cpucool

and yes you can overclock and undervolt, but whith overclock you may not be able to undervolt or only undervolt a little. The undervolting program to use is RMclock and a tutorial on how to use it is here:

^ Second that, you might not be able to OC the FSB without knowing the correct PLL.

Were you looking for this guide ??

Yes, it is definitely possible to OC and undervolt at the same time.

I forget to add, the success right of overclocking via software is very low for laptops. For instance no one of the 5 laptops I've own in the past was able to OC.
