Any suggestions? Would prefer reliability over performance.

Does such an msata ssd even exist? I can't find one.

You're kidding right?
Amazon.com: msata ssd -
And which of those support hardware encryption?

tilleroftheearth Wisdom listens quietly...
Suprisingly, some/most of the SSD controllers support hardware encryption - but the manufacturers that issue the complete SSD's themselves simply ignore to implement it.
As far as I know; even regular 2.5" SSD's have very limited availability/implementation of hardware encryption (even in the latest Intel Enterprise offerings...).
I think that your search (at this point) is likely to be in vain, imo.
Hope I'm wrong, good luck. -
Sorry, I read it as "Do mSATA SSD's even exist"? As far as encryption I think you're stuck at the chipset level.

Both Sandforce based and Marvell based SSD's claim to support hardware encryption. Previously Sandforce claimed to support 256-bit AES, but it was found to not work so now they only claim to support 128-bit.

MARVELL: Marvell - Storage - SSD Markets and Technologies -
Here's a site were it's easier to find encrypted mSATA cards:

There is only two available at this time, one with 30GB and the other with 60GB, hope that helps you out.
