    1. If you have a DAW using a laptop and motu soundcard "That Works"..... please list your laptop here. I am looking to buy a new laptop to interface with my Motu 8pre via firewire.

    2. Question: If you have a laptop using a firewire express card and interfacing with Motu hardware and It Works, plese list your express card and laptop.

    Thanks

Why would you use an express card to provide a Firewire port if your laptop already has one? I saw some guy on youtube demonstrating lockups with Fireface playback on the laptop in my sig, and he too was using an express card slot when Firewire is a built in port.

I think the second one was more of a "even if your laptop does not come with a firewire port, but can take an expresscard that has a firewire port and you've gotten it to work with Motu, post said laptop and expresscard."
