    Hey everyone

My girlfriend has a Toshiba L775D-S7340 with a cracked screen. It is a 17.3" display with a resolution of 1600x900.

I'd like to get this panel replaced with one capable of 1920x1080 if possible.

Anyone know of a compatible replacement screen?

I like that site because it has pretty good info. In this case you have to know display cable type and location, replacement panel needs to have same.

Unless I'm mistaken, 1600x900 and 1920x1080 panels use same cable, so a 1080p panel would be a drop-in replacement.

Pick one that has specs you like, then see laptopscreen/panelook for matching connectors and lastly your favore online retailers for the panel itself.

You should first contact Toshiba to see if there is a higher screen for it first before spending money on screen that might not be compatible with it. If Toshiba doesn't list a higher screen then most likely you will not find one for it. If you look at Toshiba parts finder and using your laptop model and serial number and they list a 1920 then you know you can get one if not then your stuck with 1600 screen replacements only.

If this site doesn't list one then you don't have that option.
