I'm currently looking to do an upgrade of my laptop screen and have narrowed down my choice to the following new screen: the B156HAN04.2
Here's the odd thing, panelook.com is only aware of the base model of this screen in their database: http://www.panelook.com/modeldetail.php?id=32204
However, when I go to purchase one, it appears there are HW0A and HW1A variants (revisions?) of this screen, in addition to the base model:

https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/screen-part-number/B156HAN04.2 HW0A/
https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/screen-part-number/B156HAN04.2 HW1A/
It's quite strange to me that Panelook has no record of these HW0A HW1A models, as they typically do keep track of the variants.
As I've never done this, I was wondering if anyone here has any direct experience with purchasing a screen replacement where there are HWxx variants; in this situation is the HW1A model the latest and greatest revision of the base model, and I should go ahead and buy it without hesitation over the base model? Or are these HWxx models specific to certain laptops only and should be avoided? Of course, would prefer to buy the latest revision of this screen if I can, just not sure if that's what the HWxx variants actually are.
Would really appreciate any help someone may provide.
Looking to update laptop screen, is HW1A always better?
