    Hey everyone,

So when plugged in and i try to play a game my CPU clock sticks to 1197MHz. Whenever i unplug my adapter the CPU goes all the way up to 3200-3300 MHz also when im gaming. Temp of cpu exceeds the 60 degrees a little bit sometimes usually its within 50-60 degrees. Is there a way so i can play with maximum performance of my CPU like 3300-3400MHz?

(One little thing my gpu memory clock goes from 1800MHz to 800MHz whenever i plug it out but i guess thats normal because u can get the maximum peformance on a battery)

Check your power settings. Under advanced look for maximum power state and set it to 100. Sounds like its stuck on 0% /idle speed .

Agreed it sounds like a power plan issue. Do what's mentioned above; alternatively try switching to the built-in Windows 'Balanced' power profile, assuming you haven't changed it; that plan works for most usage scenarios.
