Hey guys,
I recently overclock/undervolt my 4710hq (Alienware 15)
I only manage to score 730 for benchmark in XTU and my laptop was still throttling down to 800 MHz when it hit around 82 - 85 degrees.
Here is my XTU tweak
Dynamic Cpu Voltage Offset -56mv
Max non turbo boost ratio 25x
Reference clock 100 MHz
Processor cache 35x
Processor current limit 85 A
Turbo boost 47w
Turbo boost power time window 8 secs
Turbo boost short power max 58 w
36x/35x/34x/34x
Is there anything else I can change and try to achieve higher benchmark score and prevent my cpu from throttling all the way down to 800 MHz?
Thanks in advance!

Sell that Alienware 15 and buy a P650Sx is a good choice
Anyway, your power limits mean nothing due to your chip being a 4710HQ. More information is in the guide in my signature.
Now that that's out of the way... you'll current limit throttle in XTU to ~3.2-3.3GHz unless your current limit is set to 256A or higher. That's one source done.
Finally, if the AW15 is set to throttle at 85 degrees due to thermals, there's little you can do. Maybe Throttlestop magic can help, but if it's a harder lock (for example: a BIOS-level lock that throttlestop cannot bypass) then you're stuck. Do note: it WILL throttle at 95c no matter what you do. You should probably try to get the fans to kick up/work better/etc before you try anything else if you want to rid yourself of thermal throttling. -

Basically, I'm saying you're mainly screwed as long as you've got that alienware due to how locked down everything is on it this generation. No HQ chip is "great" but the P6xxSx series make them work as best they can, and with a premamod BIOS you can have full access to the CPU's settings. 47W/58W/power window time will still be useless sliders though.
Also, set your current limit to 256A at your own risk. If your power brick etc is all well and good with it, that's fine, but it can cause you to heat up more instead of current throttling in some instances. If you want some added stability, set your cache ratio to about 25x. You could even set it to 8x if you want. -
Maybe a good idea; Make a Trottle help tread for Hq processors. LoL
Low XTU score and CPU throttling after overclocking
