Hi guys,
This is for my m18x (from sig). I have 2x 256gb Crucial M4s in RAID0 on this laptop but the benches seem to be on the low side.

Any thoughts, ideas or recommendations? This is on a fresh Win7 Ultimate install + latest Intel RST if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance!

No, this seems (ballpark) right to me - unless you're willing to get the best hardware RAID card, upgrade to IB and test the array outside of a Win7 install (desktop only, of course) - this will be about the best you can expect with the M4's.
What were you expecting? -

I guess I didn't expect the setup to take that much of a hit going from a desktop to a notebook setup is all. I guess I can't really abandon my desktop rig after all. Thanks for the feedback

Lol... yeah - no matter how crazy I can configure a notebook - a current (or same) platform desktop has always blown it away (by a huge margin).
Don't worry about the numbers: how do the two systems feel (responsiveness/snappiness)? I'm guessing they are very similar.
Even a single SSD (specifically: not in RAID0) will 'feel' roughly equivalent, imo.
RAID0 not worth the trouble (for me...) vs. the actual performance gained unless you are editing large, raw video files on a daily basis. -
Do you have the proper drivers installed? The difference shouldn't be that big between the desktop and mobile chipsets.

This made me wonder if I'm getting the full SATA 3 benefits or not. I'll keep digging and update this thread when I have more info.
Low benches for my Raid0 SSD setup. Any ideas?
