    Hai.

To the point: Pointless topic for me to show the lowest temp. reading i've had so far.
    MODS:
    -Backplate removed.
-5920G on NZXT Cryo LX notebook cooler. (alluminium + 3 12mm fans @ max speed.)
    -Auto-undervolt by Windows 7 (0.85 I think)
-(not really a mod but okay) Placed next to my window for a few minutes (It's freezing outside) :D

    Result:

Now to get a 12V adaptor for your Cryo and you will see it drop another 10C :D Works a treat trust me!

lol, 12V adaptor? What are you talking about? Something like: cranck up the voltages and get a shaking-loud notebook cooler?

I think I'll try nitrogen first xD

Meh, my GPU stays at 39C even when I don't have it on a cooler and the ambient temp is 18C.

It's ridiculously loud haha but I have just 50C idle on my 8600M GT with on OC lol. For me losing temps is worth noise. Besides I just drown it out while I game anway :D Maxes at about 75C

The 9500M gs is a card that tends to run verry hot, even when idle.
Ask other 15,4" 5920G owners, this is the lowest you'll get propably.

Really? In a lot of notebooks, the 3650 runs hot as well.

If the 9500M GS is anything like the 9600M GT in terms of temperatures, then I understand.

My normal idle is like 50ish. (without my window open..)
When I played Gta IV on this lappy (overclocked) it got up too 103°c once.. Without any mod's though..

O well, it still works. :D

Excuse me but how do you 'auto-undervolt' in Win7?

When I read my voltages when idle it says '0.85' automaticly, so my conclusion is: windows 7 has undervolting built in. As microsoft stated "Windows 7 will be more energy-effecient and save energy when the system is not used." (Something like that :D)

It didnt do that in Vista BTW, I had to manually undervolt with RMClock Ut. (which doesn't work for me in Win7.)

    So yeah..

Yeah, funny how people invest soo much in cooling when you can just pull on your jacket and open the window. Let nature do the rest :D!

Global warming on the other hand

    Damn, that's huge.

Mine on stock without any mods gets up to 63C max. I have never seen it above 63C.

Count yourself lucky than, CZX58 Shadow. 5920G is not among the coolest notebooks around, in an Italian forum they actually call it "oven" :D The good side is that it's still running even under very high temps.

Pretty neat temps, Undertaxxx :) I would love to see those numbers with the backplate on and without external cooling (yeah, I'm dreaming). I'm waiting for my spare heatsink and I'll start with the experiments :)

It must be really cold where you live, for the temperature to be that low.

Please note guys that even with the highest airflow fans, your system will never run cooler than ambient temperature. If it does, than your software is reading the probes wrong.

Just scanning HWMonitor, I'm idling at around 26 degrees on my T8300, and the 9500M GS is farting along at 54 degrees.
I've never seen mine go above 82 Celsius, even when overclocked.
Then again, I've also AS5'd mine. And I believe the 6920G has a better cooling system than the 5920G.

Since the window was open and it was freezing outside, the ambient temperature was verry low..

I think my temps are only comparable to other 5920G's :D
