    Hi all.

I just got a HP 450 G3 laptop for my girlfriend and I bought an extra M.2 SATA SSD to put in it.

The problem is that the laptop doesn't come with the necessary screw to install it (as the laptop didn't originally have an M.2 SSD). I found that the screw size should be M2x3mm. Unfortunately my hardware store only had M2x4mm, so 1mm longer than it should be.

Do you guys think the extra 1mm will cause problems? Thanks :D

On this occasion you are probably in a hurry but I would note that you can buy bags of assorted notebook screws from China on 'bay which will give a lifetime supply for a few $$$s.
