I need to replace my disk drive as it has a crippling issue that occurs when I use more than one disk after I have started it. I have found very little on forums involving my problem, and, unless there is some fix for it (I don't suspect there is) then I will have to get it replaced. So.. can someone tell me what I will have to look for when buying a new optical drive? I'm pretty sure the drive's height that I am using is 12.7mm, here is how it appears in the device manager: PLDS DVD +-RW DC-8A2SH ATA Device. I see a lot of SATA drives on amazon but no ATA drives, would I need anything special if I got a SATA?

    Thanks
